Energy Management Centre (EMC) – Kerala under the Department of Power, Government of Kerala Energy Management Centre- Kerala (EMC) is the State Designated Agency (SDA) of Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India.   EMC is designated to co-ordinate, regulate and enforce the provisions of the Energy Conservation Act 2001 (Central Act 52 of 2001) in the State of Kerala. 
In commemoration of the 28th anniversary of EMC's Foundation Day, we are thrilled to announce the inaugural edition of the International Energy Festival of Kerala (IEFK) 2024. This three-day event, focused on "Energy Transition and Climate Change," will take place from February 7th to 9th, 2024, at Tagore Theatre, Thiruvananthapuram. Renowned organizations such as the World Resource Institute, CSTEP, India Hydrogen Alliance, Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE), India Smart Grid Forum, Vasudha Foundation, Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), among others, will present on topics including Energy Transitions, Climate and Energy Efficiency, and Innovative and Green Energy Technologies.
Additionally, there will be insightful presentations on the successful operation of Nuclear Power plants in India by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. The detailed schedule of the program will be shared later and made available on the EMC website and social media platforms.
